Publix stores are now accept walk-ins for people who want to get a COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccines are available at every pharmacy in the state without an appointment. Publix said people who want to get the vaccine are still able to make an appointment online.
CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Sam’s Club are also allowing walk-ins for anyone interested in getting a COVID-19 vaccination.
Volusia County Fairgrounds, 3150 E New York Ave, DeLand is no longer offering first vaccine doses. Those who received a first-dose vaccine there should return on the date written on the back of their vaccination card for the second dose, arriving at the same time as their first appointment.
